Yurii Tretiak
Executive Director of the Association of Regional Development Agencies of Ukraine (ARDAU), one of the key networks of non-governmental organizations of Ukraine since 2001. ARDAU strengthens the ability of 34 member organizations (local and regional development agencies) to ensure a sustainable local and regional development in Ukraine. Yurii worked as a researcher and project manager of the Kyiv Center of the East-West Institute and in a number of technical assistance projects for the government on the development of civil society in Ukraine, sustainable local and regional development, urban and rural development, public administration and regional policy in the countries on transition development stage, cross-border cooperation. Consulted during the development of a number of legislative initiatives regarding regional policy in Ukraine. Yurii has a specialist diploma in international economic relations from the Lviv National University; he studied at Charles University, Czech Republic; Loras College, United States; Galilee College, Israel; Local Development Centre under the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Italy. Yurii is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and English
